This Boulder Opal cabochon is created from genuine Australian Boulder Opal presented on a Boulder Opal backing. This large Boulder Opal doublet measures approx 20mm x 16mm
This is a large size Boulder Opal cabochon and will make a great pendant stone or large ring stone.
The colour in this Boulder Opal cabochon is beautiful and hasn't been captured in the images shown. The Opal displays stripes of bright blue, green , red and yellow and looks like a sunset over an ocean.
A 'doublet' is a slice of high grade Opal presented on an Opal backing. Although this cabochon is not a solid Opal is it created from 2 pieces of solid Opal rather than one making this Opal much more affordable than a solid Opal of this grade.
